Through out our history, we have a solid safety record and unique business model that has allowed us stability in an otherwise unpredictable industry.
FOX 9 talked with our CEO Jude Bricker in February about aviation safety, the evolution of Sun Country’s business model and what 2025 and beyond will bring.
On safety: "One of the great things about my industry and the reason we're able to deliver the safety record we've been able to deliver is that we all work together on improvements,” Jude said. “So, we're competitors but when it comes to safety there's best practices and if somebody comes up with a better way to do things, we all adapt to that."
On our business model: "We're designed specifically for Minnesotans. It's real simple: if you live in the Twin Cities or nearby, paying with your own money, we want to fly where you want to go when you want to get there for $100."
On the future: "2025 is going to be about cargo growth and that’s because Amazon has demand." “On the network side,” Jude says that, “specific to Minneapolis, in the winter we'll continue adding small markets in the Caribbean and Mexico to give people options. In the summer, we'll offer more connections to shorter-haul markets with demand like Kansas City, Omaha, and Sacramento.”
We're a unique company, with a unique purpose. As Jude says, "There's no one like us."
