Our CEO, Jude Bricker, joined aviation leaders from around the country on November 12 in Dallas, Texas, at the Skift Aviation Forum. Jude talked about how we’re maintaining profitability and competitiveness despite the turbulent environment currently being faced by low-cost carriers.
He highlighted our diversified business model, which blends scheduled service, charter flights, and cargo operations, as a key strategy to maintain profitability. Jude emphasized the importance of flexibility, efficiency, and a deep understanding of our core customer base in driving the airline’s success.
Speaking to that, Jude says, "We have cargo and a significant charter operation and those two together really help stabilize the variability that we experience in scheduled service as leisure carrier, but then also they're enduring through challenging economic times.”
He also shared insights into the evolving landscape of low-cost carriers, shedding light on how we continue to adapt and innovate to meet the demands of today’s travelers.
"We need to fight where we win, and the reason why we work, and other carriers don't, is that we fly when there's demand. We redo the network specific to the Minneapolis traveler.”
