Empty modern airplane cabin with dark gray reclining seats, blue carpet, oval windows, and Allegiant logos on headrests.

There’s a particular moment when a trip starts to feel like a trip. Maybe it’s when the out-of-office goes on. Maybe it’s the first airport coffee. Maybe it’s when you sit down, put your phone on airplane mode, and realize there’s officially nowhere else you need to be.

Soon, there’ll be a new way to settle into that feeling. Beginning in 2027, Allegiant First will start arriving on select Allegiant aircraft, bringing a new premium travel option with more room, thoughtful extras, included bags, and added flexibility.

For Allegiant guests, it’s something new. For longtime Sun Country guests who remember First Class, it might feel a little familiar. Either way, there’s plenty to look forward to.

First things first: The seat

Allegiant First will feature eight seats at the front of the aircraft, arranged two-by-two. Every seat is either a window or an aisle. A small detail that becomes a pretty nice detail once you’re sitting down.

Each seat offers 37 inches of pitch, a five-inch recline, an adjustable headrest, and a calf rest. That means more room to stretch out, settle in, and find your comfortable spot for the flight. Read a few chapters. Watch something you downloaded three months ago. Get a head start on doing absolutely nothing.

Good things within reach: In-seat power and snacks

At your seat, USB Type-C ports and a 120V power outlet help keep your devices charged, whether you’re passing the time with a movie, finishing a playlist, or making sure you land with enough battery to figure out where the rental car pickup actually is.

Plus, once you’re settled in, Allegiant First includes complimentary drinks and snacks to enjoy along the way.

Bags and priority access included

Allegiant First also makes the airport part a little easier. Your fare includes priority check-in and priority boarding, plus one personal item, one carry-on bag, and one checked bag up to 70 pounds.

That gives you some breathing room when packing, too. Bring the extra outfit. Leave room for whatever you find while you’re away. Pack hiking boots and dinner shoes if that’s your brand of vacation math.

Enhanced Trip Flex: Because plans occasionally have plans of their own

Sometimes trips don’t always unfold exactly the way they looked on the calendar. Allegiant First includes Enhanced Trip Flex, providing additional flexibility when plans change. That includes no change fee and, for eligible cancellations, a refund to your original payment method.

Applicable conditions and timing requirements still apply, so be sure to review the Enhanced Trip Flex terms and conditions before booking.

All in a cabin designed to feel good, too

Comfort isn’t only about the seat. The Allegiant First cabin brings together deep navy tones and warm orange accents, with details that reward a closer look. Subtle sun branding is debossed into the headrests. Horizon-inspired stitching runs through the seating, while coordinated materials, finishes, and cabin lighting help give the space a warm, welcoming feel.

An open divider defines the Allegiant First cabin while keeping the space connected to the rest of the aircraft. It’s polished without feeling precious. Thoughtful without making a whole thing about it.

Something new. Something familiar.

Allegiant First is expected to begin flying on select aircraft in spring 2027, joining Allegiant Extra® and Main Cabin to give guests another way to choose how they want to travel.

For Allegiant guests, that means a completely new option at the front of the aircraft. More space. More included. A different way to start the trip. And for Sun Country guests who remember settling into First Class years ago, there’s a bit of a homecoming here, too.

But as Allegiant and Sun Country come together, it’s nice to see something familiar returning in a new form, alongside something Allegiant guests haven’t had before.
