Each year, we join the nation in recognizing National Aviation Day, a holiday established in 1939 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to celebrate the progress of flight. For our employees, the day has become a tradition that gives colleagues a chance to step away from their daily routines and see aviation from new perspectives. Guided by volunteers from across our airline, team members explore various parts of our operation that brings every flight to life.

The day began with keynote remarks from Jude Bricker, President and CEO, and Steve Coley, SVP & Head of Operations. They shared reflections on our company and took questions from employees participating in the event.
From there, employees rotated through six interactive stations across the operations. They got an up-close look at detached aircraft engines, toured the maintenance hangar, learned about the charter program, and visited System Operations Control to learn about the various roles that get a flight off the ground.
During the pilot training portion of the day, employees saw firsthand the items that our crews must familiarize themselves with to be ready for flight.
Participants also stopped by the supplies department, where they learned how thousands of parts are tracked and organized, ensuring that all aircraft are serviced safely and efficiently.
Now in its fourth year, our Aviation Day has become more than just a celebration, it reflects the curiosity, connection, and teamwork that fuels our operation and reflects on our shared mission to ensure safe, reliable air travel to our passengers.
