In June, Sun Country was proud to welcome students from Minnesota ACE Camp for another two days of exploration, learning, and inspiration. MN ACE Camp introduces high school students to careers across the aviation industry, and our team was excited to give campers a behind-the-scenes look at the teamwork and careers that keep our airline flying. 

The morning began at our headquarters with a welcome from Dave Setterstrom, Senior Director of System Operations Center, who introduced students to the fast-paced world of airline operations and how teams work together to keep flights running safely and on schedule. 

Students then met with members of our Flight Operations Training team, who shared what it takes to become a commercial pilot and the training, preparation, and teamwork that helps every flight depart with confidence. 

The experience wrapped up at our maintenance hangar, where students toured our fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft and met with members of our tech ops team. 

Whether they dream of becoming pilots, mechanics, dispatchers, or aviation leaders, the day gave students a closer look at the many careers that make air travel possible. 

We're proud to partner with Minnesota ACE Camp to help inspire the next generation of aviation professionals and thank everyone across Sun Country who shared their time, knowledge, and passion with this year's campers.
