Stars of the North, the Minneapolis chapter of Women in Aviation International, recently held a member-exclusive event at our maintenance hangar. The organization, which works to increase female participation in aviation and aerospace through education, networking, and community service, got the opportunity for a “behind the scenes” look at Sun Country’s technical operations.

About 20 members of Stars of the North were able to hear about the maintenance of our fleet of Boeing 737s from Vice President of Technical Operations, Paul Wroble. There were also opportunities for members to check out the flight deck, explore a freighter aircraft, and get an up close look at different areas of the maintenance hangar. Members were able to gain insight from industry professionals including Sun Country First Officer and Stars of the North Member Chelsea Montgomery.
