We had an amazing first weekend hosting ‘Tropics Days’ with our partners at the Minnesota Zoo! Don't miss out on the fun—join us next weekend, March 1–2 from 9am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday, as we continue the excitement and support vital conservation efforts.
We are sponsors of the Tropics Trail, a climate-controlled indoor habitat that highlights biodiversity hotspots around the world and the animals that inhabit them. This partnership brings together the best of both organizations by helping Minnesota families make connections with and explore the natural world through travel and conservation.

Tropics Days event highlights:
Towel Exchange
Support the Minnesota Zoo animal health staff by bringing a pre-loved beach or bath towel – in clean condition – to donate. Towels are used daily to keep animals clean and comfortable. In exchange, you’ll receive a limited-edition Sun Country-branded beach towel to take home. Limit 1 towel per family, while daily supplies last.
Responsible Traveling
Join MN Zoo staff as they provide demonstrations about the hidden dangers of animal trafficking with their responsible traveling activity. Step into the role of a TSA agent as you inspect a traveler’s suitcase and uncover items that shouldn't be there. Learn how to be a responsible traveler in tropical regions and protect endangered species by making informed choices while traveling.
