As the Official Airline of Twin Cities in Motion (TCM), Sun Country Airlines has the privilege of supporting local runners in Minnesota, in addition to those traveling to races in the Twin Cities from around the country.
TCM is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization that engages the community through movement, providing the best-in-class experience events for everyone regardless of ability, age, or background. The organization puts on a variety of events throughout the year, including the Hot Dash, Get in Gear, Women Run the Cities, Twin Cities Marathon Weekend, and Turkey Day 5K. TCM has been a staple in the Twin Cities running community since 1982.
This past spring, Sun Country employees got the opportunity to lace up their running shoes and participate in various TCM events around the metro, including Women Run the Cities. This specific race benefits Girls on the Run, a national non-profit organization that designs programming that strengthens third- to eighth grade girls’ social, emotional, physical, and behavioral skills to successfully navigate life experiences.
Maddi, Amy, Ashley, and LaTricia participated in the race and represented the many strong and talented women of Sun Country Airlines. A big CONGRATULATIONS to all our employees who took part in a TCM event so far this year.
