Let’s take a look a back at the year in travel for customers and employees at Sun Country Airlines. We served record numbers of passengers, new destinations were added and we were recognized with a big award.
First, it’s most important to say thank you to all the guests who flew with us and to all our team members who always make sure our passengers get to their destinations safely and efficiently. Every team member contributes to serving our customers every day.
Some of the highlights from 2023 include:
Celebrated our company’s history with the 40th anniversary of our very first flight.
Launched of 14 new summer routes and announced of 10 new routes for summer 2024 flying.
Welcomed Jennifer Vogel and Gail Peterson to the Board of Directors as independent directors. Our Board of Directors is comprised of 50% women.
Won a global award from SKYTRAX for the Best Low-Cost Carrier in North America at the 2023 World Airline Awards.
Flew more than 3.4 million passengers, with over 26,250 departures and more than 4.8 million filled seats.
Implemented new automated customer service tools giving you more self-service options to manage your trips, and in 2024 we’ll roll out a long-awaited mobile app.
In 2024, we will continue to make investments to improve our offerings and continue to work to make travel affordable and hassle-free for our customers.
